Sweeny Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and camping is available at Journey's End. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Hasbrook Lake; dry warm beds await you at The Waters Of Minocqua. This lake is so wonderful. A great location to camp here at Cunard Lake is Brian's Resort and Campground, and Comfort Inn Minocqua is a magnificent spot to get some rest. During       the long summer days at Cunard Lake highs are usually in the 70's, and the night is rather colder of course, mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 10's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Cunard Lake drop into the-10's. An average amount of precipitation falls at Cunard Lake; August is when you get the most rain here while February is typically the driest month.
