High temperatures at Cub Lake all through the summertime months are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's while Cub Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's. This lake       is so wonderful. Lakes are good; Bear Lake is a lake that's right next door to Cub Lake, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Park Falls is a wonderful choice. Some of the water nearby flows, like Hungry Run, and Cub Lake is right by the Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Chippewa River - East Fork; Cub Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day                  at, Wolfs Eagle Lodge Resort and Campground is a splendid local campground. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cub Lake; Black Lake Trail is a good local trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Chippewa River - East Fork, and the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail offers hiking at its best.
