Summertime highs at Cub Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Cub Lake. Cub Lake gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February on the other       hand is the driest. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cub Lake. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Black Lake Trail; going for a hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. If you come at the right time of year, Chippewa River - East Fork offers some great whitewater; if you came for an overnight stay Black Lake Campground is a tremendous place                  to camp. Getting to Hungry Run from Cub Lake is trouble-free, and camping is available at Wolfs Eagle Lodge Resort and Campground. There are other locations here than Cub Lake, for example Bear Lake, and if you need a place to stay Park Falls Super 8 Motel is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful.
