Get soaked paddling on Chippewa River - East Fork, and do take a hike on the Black Lake Trail. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Cub Lake; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Chippewa River - East Fork in a kayak, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure       along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail. A charming lake like Blaisdell Lake in the vicinity of Cub Lake is a great location to check out. There's so much to do here at Cub Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wolfs Eagle Lodge Resort and Campground is a wonderful site for that. A tremendous nearby hotel is Park Falls Super 8 Motel. Take a little spree to Hungry Run if you're here at Cub Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Tuscobia                  Park Falls State Trail. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not explore Bear Lake in close proximity to Cub Lake, and if you came to camp Wolf's Eagle Lodge Resort is a good location to do that. For the period of the summer months highs here at Cub Lake get into the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's.
