Take a hike on the Grottos Trail, and enjoy a round of golf at Lodi Golf Club. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Baraboo River, and lots of folks from Madison come here. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Crystal Lake Campground since you're here at Crystal Lake; if you need a location to stay Best Western Countryside Inn is a perfect choice. Ice Age National Scenic Trail is       a wonderful local destination here at Crystal Lake, and after a long day outdoors Cedarberry Inn is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. At Crystal Lake during the summer months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Crystal Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Devils Head is one of those things you just ought to                  do, and if you came for an overnight stay Smokey Hollow Campground is a fine site to camp. Really glorious skiing awaits you at Cascade Mountain. And that's not all you can do here at Crystal Lake. Wisconsin River is a glorious whitewater spot in the vicinity of Crystal Lake; you can have a nice hiking adventure along the East Bluff Woods Trail. While you're here at Crystal Lake you can take a hike along the East Bluff Trail; there are other places here than Crystal Lake, for example Fish Lake.
