Eau Claire River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Crotty Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Tyman's Motel and Campground is a magnificent       local campground. The annual precipitation here at Crotty Lake is about average; during August this area sees the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. A pleasant spot to camp here at Crotty Lake is Charlie Brown's Campground, and if you need a location to stay Americinn - Hayward, Wi is a good choice. High temperatures at Crotty Lake through the days of summer are in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's.
