Playing golf is lots of fun at Spring Valley Country Club, and Comfort Inn & Suites is a magnificent place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Grass Lake Marina and RV Park; you're sure to stumble upon some good people from Racine here. Hiking along the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail is glorious fun; the skiing at Wilmot mountain is pleasant. So much cool stuff right next door to Cross Lake, simply       remarkable. Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing) is a tremendous local ski area; Cross Lake is a tremendous site to camp, Old Port Cove Marina is a tremendous site. Dry warm beds await you at Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Kenosha, and going for a hike along the Lake Defiance Nature Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Cross Lake gets a common amount of rain; through August this area sees the most rain,                  and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Pike River for all you adrenaline kick people, and do pop by Antioch Lake, it's a beautiful lake. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Cross Lake; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; night lows at Cross Lake during the wintertime commonly descend into the 0's.
