After a long day outdoors Best Western Lakewood Lodge is a magnificent location to spend a night or two, and camping at Crooked Lake is pleasant fun, Oconton County Park Campground is a pleasant local campground. Dry warm beds await       you at Pinewood Cottages. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Crooked Lake while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Crooked Lake are in the 0's. Crooked Lake is not the only site nearby, Bass Lake is a nearby lake; there's whitewater on Peshtigo River for all you adrenaline people.
