If you came to camp Shady Brook Campground is a glorious location to do that; if you need a place to stay Days Inn of Antigo is a wonderful choice. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Crooked Lake. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Crooked Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime       are in the-10's. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do right next door to Crooked Lake. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Crooked Lake; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop by Alga Lake since you're here at Crooked Lake; it's nearby; Antigo Super 8 Motel is a tremendous site to get some rest. There's so much to do here                  at Crooked Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Nordic Hills Campground is a delightful location for that, and Eau Claire River is a good whitewater spot nearby.
