A wonderful place to camp here at Crooked Lake is Clam Lake Resort and Campgrounds, and Crooked Lake is not the only place nearby, Kapes Lake is a nearby lake. Why not camp at Winberg's Resort and Campground while you're here at Crooked Lake, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a magnificent choice. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Upper Tamarack River. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Crooked

| | Lake while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 10's, and nighttime lows all through the winter for Crooked Lake tend to be in the-10's.
Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Crooked Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Lower Tamarack River offers some pleasant whitewater; close by you hit upon the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail which is a glorious hiking | |

trail. Dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Crooked Lake, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Markville Snowmobile Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Crooked Lake, you could also stop by nearby Larson
Lake, and while you're here and you like golf, you can go to Siren Glen Golf Club.
Crooked Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February.
