From a rainfall point of view Crooked Lake is a pretty typical location; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Cascade Mountain, and if you need a place to stay Americinn Wisconsin Dells is       a tremendous choice. The East Bluff Woods Trail offers hiking at its best, and whitewater paddling is good on Baraboo River. During the summertime months, highs usually are in the 80's at Crooked Lake. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 20's while Crooked Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's. The slopes of Christmas Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. Lakes?                  Sure, Wolf Lake is in the neighborhood. Why not take a refreshing hike along the East Bluff Trail, and Coon's Deep Lake Campground is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Crooked Lake is right by the Bluff Trail.
