This site rocks, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do right next door to Crescent Lake. While you're here at Crescent Lake, you could also explore scenic Green Bass Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Birkensee Resort is a good campground nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Rhinelander.       Wisconsin River is a good whitewater spot near Crescent Lake, and there are plenty of folks from Merrill here at Crescent Lake. A normal amount of rain falls here at Crescent Lake; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Crescent Lake highs are generally in the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs                  are in the 10's; night lows through the wintertime for Crescent Lake tend to be in the-10's.
