Go to Crawford Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. If you come at the right time of year, Planter Creek offers some splendid whitewater, and Crawford Lake is right by the Alligator Eye Trail. The amount of rain that falls at Crawford Lake is close to the national average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Gogebic Range has to offer.

The Gogebic Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. A nice nearby hotel is Americinn - Minocqua, Wi, and Indianhead
has nice slopes and a friendly staff. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Gogebic Range is excellent! Big Powderhorn Mountain is a very popular ski area close by, and why not camp at Henry Lake Campground if you're here at Crawford Lake.
