This lake is so wonderful. Wolf River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby, and good hiking is available along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail. You could also have a look at Grass Lake since you're here at Crane Lake; it's nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites. Crane Lake gets a normal amount       of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. If you need a place to stay Days Inn of Antigo is a tremendous choice. There's so much to do here at Crane Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Joy Harbor Campground is a great spot for that. High temperatures at Crane Lake during the summer months are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the                  winter the highs are commonly in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Crane Lake. Crane Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise.
