Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you       then we recommend Embarrass River - South Branch; Cranberry Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Mayflower Lake Campgrounds is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Antigo Super 8 Motel is a perfect choice, and a quick visit to Mondl Creek is absolutely a great idea. The warmest time of the year at Cranberry Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip                  down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Cranberry Lake. Baker Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and Comfort Inn Wittenberg is a good place to get some rest.
