Do check out South Cummings Lake next to Cranberry Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and the Hardwood Trail offers hiking at its best. For the duration       of the warm days of summer here at Cranberry Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Cranberry Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. Why not take a refreshing hike along the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail, and if you need a place to stay Viking Motel is a wonderful choice. Very beautiful scenery and good skiing                  is what you get at Christie Mountain, and you'll discover a pretty lake called North Cummings Lake.
