From a precipitation point of view Cranberry Lake is a pretty common place; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is mostly the driest month. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun stuff just keep reading. Hit the slopes at Christie Mountain close at hand, and there are wonderful       spots to discover along the Hickory Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd, and going for a hike on the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Lakes? Sure, South Cummings Lake is close at hand, and close by you locate the Hardwood Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Cranberry Lake.
