Lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop at Brown Lake in close proximity to Cranberry Lake, and a good spot for whitewater paddling is Wisconsin River. After a long day outdoors Rustic Manor Motor Lodge is a great place to spend a night or two, and why not visit nearby Kate Pier Creek since you're here at Cranberry Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff close       to Cranberry Lake. Take a hike on the Bearskin State Park Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Journey's End is a wonderful spot to camp. Camping at Cranberry Lake is great fun, Lynn Ann's Campground is a great local campground; if you need a place to stay Black Bear Lodge is a pleasant choice. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Cranberry Lake while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 10's; night lows at                  Cranberry Lake throughout the winter frequently descend into the-10's.
