    Do stop by Cranberry Lake while you're in this part of Wisconsin. Cranberry Lake is a beautiful lake in the Gogebic Range. For the period of the summertime months at Cranberry Lake highs are typically in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Cranberry Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Indianhead is a magnificent local ski area,  
   and camping at Henry Lake Campground is always a great experience.
And if that's not enough there's loads more exciting stuff to do in the Gogebic Range. Mosinee Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth a visit; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Black River. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cranberry Lake; Rainbow Falls Trail is a great local trail, and Cranberry Lake is great enough to spend more than a day
 
               at, Big 6 RV Resort and Campground is a great local campground. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Turtle River, and the slopes of Big Powderhorn Mountain are so inviting noone can resist.
You clearly must love Cranberry Lake. Lakes? Sure, Camp Twelve Lake is close at hand; dry warm beds await you at Indianhead Motel. Cranberry Lake is a good spot of normal precipitation; most of the rain falls through June; February is the month with the least moisture. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Gogebic Range. If you need a site to stay Bluffs Inn is a perfect choice.
