There's great hiking along the Markville Snowmobile Trail, and as expected, this is a magnificent neighborhood for people who like lakes, Bass Lake is a lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect close by hotel is Lodge at Crooked Lake, and paddling on Upper Tamarack River is so much fun. Stay the night at Winberg's Resort and Campground, and get wet paddling on Lower Tamarack River. If you need       a place to stay Lodge At Crooked Lake is a glorious choice, and Wagner's Port Sand Resort is a pleasant campground here. From a rain point of view Cranberry Lake is a quite common place; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. So much cool stuff close to Cranberry Lake, simply mind-boggling. All through the summertime here at Cranberry Lake, high temperatures frequently get                  into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's.
