There's so much to do here at Cranberry Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wagner's Port Sand Resort is a pleasant spot for that; after a long day outdoors Lodge at Crooked Lake is a great site to spend a night or two. Through the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Cranberry Lake. When the night       sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 10's with temperatures at Cranberry Lake dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cranberry Lake. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Rohr Lake. Lower Tamarack River is a wonderful whitewater spot right next door to Cranberry Lake, and why not                  take a refreshing hike along the Markville Snowmobile Trail. The amount of rain that falls at Cranberry Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls during August while February is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
