If you came for an overnight stay Du Four's Pine Tree Campground is a perfect place to camp, and Upper Tamarack River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably       hooked on lakes, Bricher Lake is one of those nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Markville Snowmobile Trail. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lower Tamarack River, and don't leave Cranberry Lake without first going for a hike along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail. Having a fine time at Cranberry Lake is simple. Golf can be played at Fox Run Golf Course, and dry warm beds                  await you at Lodge at Crooked Lake. All through the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Cranberry Lake; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Cranberry Lake.
