Cranberry Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; through September this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. The North Country Trail is a delightful hiking trail next to Cranberry Lake, and get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Marengo River. This lake is so wonderful. There is a wonderful hiking trail near Cranberry Lake called the       Rock Lake National Recreation Trail; playing golf is lots of fun at Lakewoods Resort & Golf Forest Ridges Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Cranberry Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Boulder Lodge Resort is a nice spot for that, and a delightful close by hotel is Junek's Bay Cabins. You must stop at Eagle Point when you're here at Cranberry Lake; do go to Jackson Creek since you're here at Cranberry Lake. You'll need more than a day                  to look at everything Cranberry Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Namakagon Campgrounds, and if you've had enough of Cranberry Lake, Friedbauer Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Near Cranberry Lake you hit upon the Virgin Pine Trail which is a good hiking trail. High temperatures at Cranberry Lake all through the days of summer are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's while Cranberry Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the-10's. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Cranberry Lake is great!
