A lake nearby is Trapper Lake, and soar down the rapids of Marengo River in a kayak. Through the warm days of summer highs here at Cranberry Lake get into the 70's, and the night is somewhat colder of course, usually in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's, and nighttime lows in the-10's       for Cranberry Lake. A glorious site to camp here at Cranberry Lake is Lake Namakagon Campgrounds, and close by you find the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. A typical amount of rain falls here at Cranberry Lake; the month with most of the rain is September, and February is when it's the driest. Any time is a tremendous time at Cranberry Lake if you love the outdoors. Don't forget to visit Eagle Point if you're here                  at Cranberry Lake; why not check out nearby Jackson Creek while you're here at Cranberry Lake. If you need a location to stay Best Western Lake Superior Lodge is a wonderful choice, and paddling on Marengo River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Ashland is a splendid location to get some rest, and a golf course close by is Lakewoods Resort & Golf Forest Ridges Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful.
