From a precipitation point of view Cranberry Lake is a relatively common location; through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Near Cranberry Lake you come across the Virgin Pine Trail which is a splendid hiking trail; a magnificent close by hotel is Best Western Holiday House. Summertime highs at Cranberry Lake ordinarily tend to be in       the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are mostly in the 10's with temperatures at Cranberry Lake dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights. Go for a hike on the North Country Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Marengo River. This lake is so wonderful. Cranberry Lake is not the only spot close by, Anodanta Lake is                  a close by lake; if you came for an overnight stay Two Lakes Campground is a pleasant site to camp. Camping is available at Perch Lake Campground, and get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of White River. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Cranberry Lake.
