From a rainfall point of view Cranberry Lake is a pretty normal place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Eau Claire River, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Pigeon Lake Trail. Summertime highs at Cranberry Lake typically tend to be in the 80's while nighttime       lows are commonly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are mostly in the 10's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Cranberry Lake descend into the-10's. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Forest Point Resort & Golf Course, and a wonderful close by hotel is Americinn - Hayward, Wi. Hayward Super 8 Motel is a tremendous spot to get some rest, and a lake close by is Lower Eau Claire Lake. And if that's                  not enough, there's a load more to do near Cranberry Lake. Lower Eau Claire Lake Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and camping at Cranberry Lake is great fun, Sunrise Bay Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
