And that's not all there is to do here in the Gogebic Range. A perfect nearby hotel is Junek's Bay Cabins; whitewater paddling is good on Brunsweiler River. Just can't get enough of the Gogebic Range. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great earth it would be. Cranberry Lake is right by the Black Lake Trail, and North Haven Country Cottage is a       delightful spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. The Great Divide Snowmobile Trail offers hiking at its best; get wet paddling on Marengo River. Camping at Black Lake Campground is always a wonderful experience, and do pop by Dead Horse Slough, it's a pretty lake. Cranberry Lake is one of the lakes here in the Gogebic Range. Take a hike on the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail, and Cranberry Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day                  at, Day Lake Campground is a nice local campground. Through the summertime at Cranberry Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Cranberry Lake temperatures fall to the 0's.
