Heaven's Up North Campground is a perfect campground nearby, and going for a hike on the Dendro Eco Trail is always a splendid adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at McCauslin Brook Golf & Country Club not far from Crab Lake, and of course, this is a nice area for folks       who like lakes, Hidden Lake is a lake in close proximity. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; Crab Lake has it all. Lakes are good; Little Bear Lake is a lake that's near Crab Lake; you can stay the night at Maple Heights Campground. There are some good whitewater spots on Oconto River - North Branch; the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail is a good hiking trail close by. Summertime highs at Crab Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's with overnight                  lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Crab Lake temperatures fall to the 0's.
