     This lake is so wonderful. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Gogebic Range. Everybody close by loves skiing at Blackjack, and the skiing at Big Powderhorn Mountain is pleasant. What a location this is for outdoors people. Big 6 RV Resort and Campground is a perfect campground nearby; do stop at Little Pine Lake, it's a stunning lake.
A picturesque lake like Jankewitz Lake right next door to Courtland Lake is a magnificent site to check
 
   out; get drenched paddling on Black River. A good close by hotel is Americinn - Ironwood, Mi, and whitewater paddling is nice on Turtle River. For the period of the long summer days here at Courtland Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 10's, and nighttime lows at Courtland Lake during the wintertime frequently plunge  
               into the-10's.
A common amount of precipitation falls here at Courtland Lake; most of the rain falls during June, and the driest of the months is February. Courtland Lake is a beautiful lake in the Gogebic Range. So much exciting stuff to do in the Gogebic Range, not enough time. Stay the night at Double E Resort, and hiking along the Newman Springs Ski Trail is tremendous fun.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Courtland Lake and you like golf, you can stop at Tahoe Lynx Golf Course, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Ironwood is a great spot to spend a night or two.
