This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. Camping is available at Kenkae Travel Park and Store; you can hit the slopes at Norway Mountain close at hand. Americinn - Norway, Mi is a magnificent place to get some       rest; Pemebonwon - South Branch has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by. Green Acres Golf Course is a golf course near Cotas Lake, and whitewater paddling is good on Pemebonwon - North Branch. Cotas Lake gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; during the month of September you get the most rain around here while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Cotas Lake is not the only place nearby, Golden Lake is a nearby lake;                  Miscauno Pond Dam is not far at all from Cotas Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Cotas Lake while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 20's with temperatures at Cotas Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Having a good time at Cotas Lake is painless.
