You're sure to run into some smiling folks from Baraboo here, and why not camp at Wagon wheel Campground since you're here at Corning Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Devils Head are so inviting nobody can resist, and Pinecrest Par 3 Golf Course is a great golf course nearby. Nearby lakes? Sure, Weeting Lake is right next door to Corning Lake, and a perfect place for whitewater paddling is Skillet Creek.                  This lake is so wonderful. From a precipitation point of view Corning Lake is a pretty typical location; the month with most of the rain is August; February is the month with the least moisture.
