This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Highlands of Olympia since you're here, and a good nearby hotel is The Delafield Hotel. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Pine woods Campground is a great campground nearby, and a round of golf at nearby St John's Northwestern Military Academy       Golf Course is a fine way to kill some time. There's some flowing water close by, Little Oconomowoc River is a stream you can pop by during your stay, and a lake close by is North Lake. Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Cornell Lake get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 20's, and overnight lows through the winter for Cornell Lake tend to be in the 0's. Do schedule some time                  to stop at Wildwood Point near Cornell Lake if you have a chance; in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Menomonee River. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Concord Center Campground. Cornell Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; all through September this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
