You'll need more than a day to look at everything Copper Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sure-wood Forest Campground, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Granite Peak. There's whitewater on Pine River for all you adrenaline junkies, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Merrill here. Lakes are perfect; Lokemoen Lake is a lake that's close to Copper Lake; if you need       a site to stay Pine Ridge Inn is a magnificent choice. Don't leave Copper Lake without first going for a hike along the Bearskin State Park Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Prairie River, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Henson Lake. This place rules, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do close to Copper Lake. Copper Lake is                  a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Birkensee Resort is a glorious place to camp nearby, and Americinn - Merrill, Wi is a great place to get some rest. Through the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Copper Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 10's while Copper Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-10's.
