This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Bearskin State Park Trail, and if you need a site to stay Pine Ridge Inn is a great choice. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Pine River. The smiling people of Merrill like to hang out nearby, and a magnificent spot to camp here at Copper Lake is Sure-wood Forest Campground. Copper       Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; September is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Copper Lake all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 10's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Copper Lake. Henson Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and Americinn                  - Merrill, Wi is a great location to get some rest. Any time is a great time at Copper Lake if you like the outdoors.
