If you are in Menominee county it's always a good idea to stop by Coon Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Shawano County Park is a tremendous site to do that; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Shawano Lake Golf Club. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Coon Lake. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's with winter lows

Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Wolf River, and after a long day outdoors Willowbreeze Lakefront Cottage is a good location to spend a night or two. The Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail is a wonderful hiking trail near Coon Lake, and Pinewood Cottages is a magnificent spot to get some rest. would be. There's so much to do here at Coon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Brown's Country Campsite is a great site for that, and if you've had enough of Coon Lake, Bass Lake is nearby. The amount of precipitation
that falls at Coon Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily September, that's the one that rains the most while January is usually the driest month.
