This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Shawano County Park is a tremendous site to do that; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Shawano Lake Golf Club. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Coon Lake. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's with winter lows       in the-10's overnight here at Coon Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Wolf River, and after a long day outdoors Willowbreeze Lakefront Cottage is a good location to spend a night or two. The Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail is a wonderful hiking trail near Coon Lake, and Pinewood Cottages is a magnificent spot to get some rest. If only every location had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great planet it                  would be. There's so much to do here at Coon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Brown's Country Campsite is a great site for that, and if you've had enough of Coon Lake, Bass Lake is nearby.
