If you need a site to stay Pinewood Cottages is a pleasant choice, and you can run the rapids of Oconto River - North Branch. After a long day outdoors Washington Resort Cottages is a good site to spend a night or two; camping at Cooley Lake is wonderful fun, Evergreen Park is a wonderful local campground. Do stop by Deer Lake close to Cooley Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and Cooley Lake is a splendid place to camp,       Marty and June Katzka is a splendid place. This lake is so wonderful. Parkway Golf Course is a splendid golf course nearby, and get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Thunder River. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Cooley Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Cooley Lake while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. During the winter the highs are typically in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout                  the wintertime temperatures at Cooley Lake sink into the-10's.
