Through the summertime here at Cook Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 10's with temperatures at Cook Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. Cook Lake gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most;       the driest of the months is February. Get dripping wet paddling on Wisconsin River, and there's magnificent hiking along the Anvil Lake Trail System. Hutchinson Creek is close to Cook Lake and is always a joy to stop by, and dry warm beds await you at Eagle River Days Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Cook Lake is a magnificent site to camp, Running's Campground and Bar is a magnificent site, and the Kimball Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. Be careful                  coming to Cook Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. There are other places here than Cook Lake, for example Hutchinson Lake. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Eagle River is a great site to spend a night or two.
