A common amount of rainfall falls here at Cook Lake; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest month is February. Cook Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Camp Luther is a delightful local campground, and hiking is a       popular thing to do around Cook Lake; Kimball Creek Trail is a nice local trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the Anvil Lake Trail System, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Eagle River is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. While you're here at Cook Lake, you could also explore scenic Thunder Lake, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Hutchinson Creek. Throughout the summertime at Cook Lake highs are mostly                  in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's.
