Camping at Cook Lake is glorious fun, West Bay Camping Resort is a glorious local campground, and you'll meet a lot of people from Merrill here. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Wisconsin River; Americinn Rhinelander is a great site to get some rest. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Cook Lake. There's some flowing water nearby, Crescent Creek is a stream you can go to       during your stay, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Rhinelander is a nice choice. Lakes? Sure, Alice Lake is in the vicinity, and close to Cook Lake you stumble on a golf course called Rhinelander Country club Professional. At Cook Lake all through the days of summer highs are in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Cook Lake are in the-10's.                  Why not camp at Northforest Campgrounds since you're here at Cook Lake, and don't leave Cook Lake without first going for a hike along the Bearskin State Park Trail.
