Comus Lake is a good site of typical rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do next to Comus Lake. Comfort Suites Delavan is a glorious place to get some rest, and if you come at the right time of year, White River offers some good whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Very scenic scenery       and wonderful skiing is what you get at Alpine Valley, and Comus Lake is not far at all from Whitewater. Near Comus Lake you come across a golf course called Abbey Springs Golf Club, and Comus Lake is not the only site nearby, Lake Comus 67 is a nearby lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Turtle Creek, naturally you could also stop at Lake Delavan 36 if you're here; it's not far at all. What would winter be without some skiing at Grand Geneva; a perfect                  place to camp here at Comus Lake is Scenic Ridge Campground. At Comus Lake all through the warm months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while Comus Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's. Camping at Snug Harbor Inn is always a magnificent experience, and after a long day outdoors Delavan Super 8 Motel is a good place to spend a night or two.
