Mount Joel is clearly visible from Columbia Lake; some of the water close by flows, like Allen Creek. All through the summertime at Columbia Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Columbia Lake. This lake is       so wonderful. The trees of Greenwood Forest are a splendid source of shade on hot summer days. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Foxfire Golf Club is nearby, and do schedule some time to have a look at Brownes Point if you have a chance. And that's not all you can do here at Columbia Lake. At Hartman Creek Number One Dam in close proximity to Columbia Lake there are some interesting things to see, and if you need a location to stay Comfort                  Suites Foxfire is a great choice. Get wet paddling on Little Wolf River. There's so much to do here at Columbia Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Deerhaven Campground is a tremendous location for that. There are other locations here than Columbia Lake, for example Beasley Lake, and Columbia Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Hartman Creek State Park is a good local campground. Columbia Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
