This lake is so wonderful. A good place to camp here at Columbia Lake is Deerhaven Campground, and a delightful lake like Limekiln Lake is a tremendous location to stop by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Shung-we Creek is an interesting swamp near Columbia Lake, and why not take       a look at close by Allen Creek while you're here at Columbia Lake. A fine close by hotel is Best Western Grand Seasons Hotel, and an afternoon playing golf at Foxfire Golf Club is always a pleasure. The amount of precipitation that falls at Columbia Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. On a pretty day you obtain a view of Mount Joel from Columbia Lake;                  if you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Foxfire is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene sites, why not check out Ottman Lake in the neighborhood of Columbia Lake, and why not explore Brownes Point also if you're here. During the long summer days here at Columbia Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Columbia Lake.
