Do stop by Clover Lake while you're in this part of Wisconsin. The snow is good at Trollhaugen. Saint Croix National Scenic River is a tremendous national park, and a short trip to Markee Spring is always worthwhile. If you come at the right time of year, Apple River offers some nice whitewater; a day on the slopes of Wild Mountain is just what you need. | | Inn Express Hotel & Suites St. Croix Valley, Wi is a great place to spend a night or two, and do stop at Markee Creek while you're here at Clover Lake. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Amery Golf Club is always a bliss, and why not camp at Apple River Campgrounds North if you're here at Clover Lake. of precipitation. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to catch a glimpse of at Ridler Dam near Clover Lake; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Shiloh Flowage 151. Luck Country Inn is a great
place to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Port Valhalla Campground is a great place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend St. Croix River.
Lakes are good; Brusher Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Clover Lake. The warmest time of the year at Clover Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Highs throughout
the wintertime are frequently in the 10's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Clover Lake temperatures descend to the-10's.
