All through the warmest time of the year here at Clear Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. During the winter highs are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Clear Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. You'll stumble on a delightful lake called McCann Lake near Clear Lake, and       during your tour here you'll meet some people from Eau Claire for sure. There is a delightful hiking trail close to Clear Lake called the Hickory Ridge Trail, and Glen Loch Motel is a great location to get some rest. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Duncan Creek, and going for a hike on the Deer Fly Trail is always a good adventure. Camping is available at Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd, and hey, Cedar                  Creek is a tremendous local stream. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Chetek is a brilliant choice, and since you're here, you could also stop by pretty Lost Lake. From a rainfall point of view Clear Lake is a rather typical place; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is typically the driest month. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Clear Lake is great! A great site for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Clear Lake is Chippewa River; good skiing awaits you at Christie Mountain.
