A pleasant nearby hotel is Americinn - Minocqua, Wi, and a lake close by is My Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Newman Springs Ski Trail, and camping at Wabasso Lake Campground is always a good experience. High temperatures at Clear Lake through the warm days of summer are       in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Clear Lake are in the-10's. From a precipitation point of view Clear Lake is a pretty common site; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Turtle River;                  some of the water close by flows, like Buckskin Creek.
