This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flambeau River - South Fork, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Americinn - Minocqua, Wi. From a rainfall point of view Clear Lake is a quite common site; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the       least amount of precipitation. You could also pop by Broken Bow Lake if you're here at Clear Lake; it's nearby; New Concord Inn is a fine location to get some rest. Turtle River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby, and camping is available at Broken Bow Campgrounds. That right there is a lot already, but it continues; Clear Lake has it all. If you came for an overnight stay Wabasso Lake Campground is a good location to camp. Summertime highs at                  Clear Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Clear Lake are in the-10's.
