Do stop by Clear Lake while you're in this part of Wisconsin. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Clear Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rock Lake Resort and Campground, and delightful hiking is available along the Deer Fly Trail. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Duncan Creek, and at Clear Lake you always meet someone from Eau Claire. There's so much to do here

| | at Clear Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Brunet Island State Park is a good site for that; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Christie Mountain.
This lake is so wonderful. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff near Clear Lake. There are other spots here than Clear Lake, for example Barr Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Hickory Ridge Trail. A wonderful nearby hotel is Glen Loch Motel, and there are good spots | |

At Clear Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Clear Lake
dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. A tremendous place for whitewater paddling right next door to Clear Lake is Chippewa River; if you need a place to stay Paradise Shores Resort Hotel is a magnificent choice. The
amount of rainfall that falls at Clear Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
