If you get bored of Clear Lake, you could also pop by close by Bob Lake, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chippewa River. Near Clear Lake you find the Deer Fly Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and after a long day outdoors Americinn - Chippewa Falls, Wi is a fine place       to spend a night or two. If the weather is magnificent here at Clear Lake, you can go for a hike along the Hay Meadow Trail, and a splendid place to camp here at Clear Lake is Rock Lake Resort and Campground. All through the summertime, highs generally are in the 80's at Clear Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 20's with temperatures at Clear Lake dipping down into the 0's during                  winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Christie Mountain. The yearly rainfall here at Clear Lake is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Clear Lake, so little time. Here at Clear Lake you'll in all probability meet some folks from Eau Claire, and why not camp at Brunet Island State Park while you're here at Clear Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
