For the period of the summer months highs here at Clear Lake get into the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Clear Lake. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. A delightful nearby hotel is Paradise Shores Resort Hotel; lots of people from Eau Claire come       here. An average amount of precipitation falls at Clear Lake; most of the rain falls through August while February is typically the driest month. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Chippewa River; Clear Lake is a great spot to camp, Brunet Island State Park is a great spot. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Glen Loch Motel is a great place to spend a night or two, and the Hay Meadow Trail is a fine                  hiking trail nearby. Rock Lake Resort and Campground is a good campground here, and nearby you stumble on the Deer Fly Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. Get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Duncan Creek, and you can hit the slopes at Christie Mountain close by. This lake is so wonderful.
