Just can't get enough of Clear Lake. Howe Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at; Duncan Creek is a splendid whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. At Clear Lake all through the summer months highs are in the 80's. When the night       sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Clear Lake. From a rain point of view Clear Lake is a pretty common location; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. Take a hike on the Hay Meadow Trail, and you're sure to run into some great people from Eau Claire here. A nice location for whitewater                  paddling in the neighborhood of Clear Lake is Chippewa River; Clear Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Rock Lake Resort and Campground is a great local campground. Do have a look at Upper Twin Lake in the neighborhood of Clear Lake, it's a picturesque lake, and if you need a spot to stay Americinn - Chippewa Falls, Wi is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Deer Fly Trail is pleasant fun; hey, Gotta ski right?
