Clay Lake is a nice lake to visit. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Pigeon Lake Trail, and you're probably into lakes, Armstrong Lake is one of those close by. So much cool stuff right next door to Clay Lake, just unbelievable. Dry warm beds await you at North Haven Country Cottage; you can stay the night at Perch Lake Campground.
While you're here at Clay Lake you can take a hike along the North Country Trail, and hiking along the Virgin Pine Trail

| | is perfect fun. This lake is so wonderful. Hummingbird Haven is a wonderful place to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Clay Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shewahmegon Boys Camp is a great site for that. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Clay Lake; the month with most of the rain is September, and February is when it's the driest.
