This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are good; Bass Lake is a lake that's next to Clam Lake, and get your pulse rate up on the delightful whitewater of Upper Tamarack River. Through the summer highs here at Clam Lake get into the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 10's while Clam Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in       the-10's. There's whitewater on Lower Tamarack River for all you adrenaline people, and going for a hike on the Markville Snowmobile Trail is always a great adventure. After a long day outdoors Lodge at Crooked Lake is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two; you can go for a hike on the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail. If only every location had this much outdoors fun things, what a great planet it would be. For you golfers we recommend nearby Fox                  Run Golf Course, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Northwoods Lodge. Stay the night at Clam Lake Resort and Campgrounds, and not far from Clam Lake you'll locate Lower Clam Lake which is a lovely lake. Clam Lake is a good spot of common rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here while February is ordinarily the driest month.
