Get yourself into a kayak and hit Chippewa River - East Fork, and you can stay the night at Boulder Lodge Resort. A golf course near Chip Lake is Ross ' Teal Lake Lodge & Teal Wing Golf Club; Best Western Lake Superior Lodge is a fine place to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Goodman Lake is close at hand, and       hey, Christy Creek is a great local stream. This lake is so wonderful. Chip Lake is a good location to visit for more than one day, Chippewa River Campground is a good location to camp nearby, and going for a hike on the North Country Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Chip Lake is a good spot of common precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So many exciting things                  near Chip Lake, truly phenomenal. Drift down the rapids of Chippewa River - West Fork in a kayak, and nearby you come across the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Chip Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Chip Lake.
