If you are in this part of Wisconsin make sure to pay a visit to Chick Lake. Camping at Chick Lake is nice fun, Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd is a nice local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Glen Loch Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Chick Lake without first going for a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail, and whitewater paddling is nice on Duncan Creek.

This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Rock Lake Resort and Campground is a brilliant location to camp, and the panorama of Pikes Peak
is beautiful. At Chick Lake you always meet someone from Eau Claire, and Chick Lake is not the only spot nearby, Ace-In-The-Hole Lake is a nearby lake. The yearly rainfall here at Chick Lake is about average; the month with most of
the rain is August, and February on the other hand is the driest.
There's delightful hiking along the Deer Fly Trail, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chippewa River.
