Resort and Campground is a great site to do that. Lake Chetac is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Trail's End Resort is a nice local campground, and not far from Lake Chetac you'll stumble on Heron Lake which is a charming lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Christie Mountain while you're here. Lake Chetac       is a good place of common rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Chetac. Get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Namekagon River; since you're here you can take a hike along the Hardwood Trail. A nice close by hotel is Flat Creek Inn and Suites. Lakes are fine; Pickerel Lake is a lake that's near                  Lake Chetac. Badger Bay is not far from Lake Chetac at all; Knuteson Spring is always fun to check out. Through the summertime months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Lake Chetac while night lows are typically in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lake Chetac are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful.
