You'll need more than a day to discover everything Cherry Lake has to offer, you can camp at Brian's Resort and Campground. Be careful coming to Cherry Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. Cherry Lake is not far at all from Merrill, and needless to say Newbold Creek flows through this region. You're almost certainly keen on lakes, Flannery Lake is one of those nearby, and whitewater paddling is not       for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Wisconsin River. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Cherry Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Northforest Campgrounds is a good place for that, and Quality Inn Rhinelander is a nice site to get some rest. The annual rainfall here at Cherry Lake is about average; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February. This is a good region for folks who like                  lakes. Hook Lake is a lake in the vicinity; after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn / Rhinelander is a fine site to spend a night or two. At Cherry Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's.
