So much entertaining stuff to do at Cheney Lake, so little time. Camping at Swansons Motel and Campground is always a splendid experience. This lake is so wonderful. Hidden North Golf Course is a tremendous golf course nearby; a glorious spot to camp here at Cheney Lake is Wasko's Lakeshore Camp. Eau Claire River has a perfect whitewater       paddling spot close by, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not explore Shoberg Lake. Cheney Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; through August this area sees the most rain while February is mostly the driest month. For the duration of the summertime months at Cheney Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 10's, and overnight lows through the                  wintertime for Cheney Lake tend to be in the-10's.
