A great location to camp here at Chelonia Lake is Perch Lake Campground, unsurprisingly you could also stop at Flakefjord Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. From a rain point of view Chelonia Lake is a quite typical spot; most of the rain falls through September, and February is when it's the driest. At Chelonia Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's.
