Going for a hike on the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail is always a fine adventure; a pleasant spot for whitewater paddling is Lower Tamarack River. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Rahn Lake, and after a long day outdoors Lodge at       Crooked Lake is a fine place to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Chase Lake during the days of summer are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 10's, and night lows at Chase Lake through the winter commonly descend into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Yellow Lake Golf Course not far from Chase Lake, and if you have the time, Saint                  Croix National Scenic River is a national park worth stopping at. Chase Lake is not the only location close by, Bluff Lake is a close by lake, and if you came to camp Sioux Portage Campground is a brilliant location to do that. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Chase Lake.
