You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area in close proximity to Chase Lake has to offer. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Lower Tamarack River, and going for a hike on the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail is always a brilliant adventure. There are delightful locations to explore along the Markville Snowmobile Trail, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Northwoods Lodge       is a good location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of St. Croix River close to Chase Lake, and camping at Stuart's Leisure Acres Resorts is always a perfect experience. Saint Croix National Scenic River is one of the destinations in close proximity to Chase Lake that are good to go to, and a lake nearby is Rahn Lake. For the duration of the warmest time of the year here at Chase Lake, high temperatures typically reach                  the 80's, and the night is rather chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Chase Lake. For you golfers we recommend nearby Yellow Lake Golf Course. Lodge at Crooked Lake is a great location to get some rest, and Chase Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Sioux Portage Campground is a great local campground.
