Summertime highs at Charles Lake generally tend to be in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Charles Lake. Charles Lake gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the       year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Yeah, come here to Charles Lake for a magnificent time. The skiing at Big Powderhorn Mountain is brilliant; since you're here and you like golf, you can go to Tahoe Lynx Golf Course. A glorious nearby hotel is Americinn - Ironwood, Mi, and you'll find a pretty lake called San Domingo Lake. Charles Lake is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, Wabasso Lake Campground is a magnificent location to                  camp nearby, and a beautiful lake like Gerlock Lake is a magnificent site to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Flambeau River - South Fork, and there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Newman Springs Ski Trail.
