This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Yellow River; Chapman Lake is not the only location close by, Withrow Lake is a close by lake. And that's not all you can do here at Chapman Lake. Shady Nook Resort is a perfect local campground, and a lake nearby is Chapman Lake       31.0. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Hamilton Falls Snowmobile Trail; a fine close by hotel is Americinn - Thorp, Wi. An average amount of rain falls at Chapman Lake; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. Pike Lake Resort is a pleasant campground nearby, and there's whitewater on Eau Claire River for all you adrenaline kick people. All through the warm days of summer here at Chapman Lake,                  high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. All through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Chapman Lake are in the 0's.
